The book chosen was Gods of Commerce: How Business Really Works, by Michael Phillips. Clear Glass Press printed the book in San Francisco in 1997. The reason the book was chosen was that the title caught my eye. In the book, Phillips describes that "the three ways of doing business ... are personified by three gods: Urbanus, Ganesh, and Honestas," which represent "trade, industry, and clientry," respectively (1). He elaborates on what each does, their ideologies, and their many nuances.
